School Norms
At Raindrops School, we nurture discipline, responsibility and respect in our young learners. Our norms are framed to help children grow into compassionate, kind and responsible individuals.
General Behaviour
Always greet teachers, elders and peers with respect and courtesy.
Speak politely and use kind words at all times.
Abusive, rude, or inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
Do not indulge in any acts of violence.
Be honest and take responsibility for your actions.
Attendance & Punctuality
Regular and punctual attendance is important for learning.
- Students should arrive at school on time and be ready for the day’s activities.
- Leave must be informed in advance by parents. Use the almanac for the same.
- Medical certificates, when required, are mandatory.
Uniform & Neatness
Students should wear the prescribed school uniform with pride.
Shoes must be polished and hair neatly groomed.
Cleanliness and personal hygiene must always be maintained.
Classroom & Academic Responsibility
Pay attention in class and participate actively in learning.
Complete homework and assignments on time with sincerity.
Take care of almanac, textbooks, notebooks and learning materials.
Strive to do your best, but remember that honesty is more important than shortcuts.
Digital Responsibility
Use school computers only for learning.
Handle devices carefully and never tamper with settings or data.
Do not share personal information or passwords with others.
Care for School Property
Take care of classrooms, playgrounds and all school belongings.
Do not write on walls, desks, or damage furniture.
Keep the school premises clean and litter-free. If you see litter around, call out to the school helpers or pick it up yourself and throw it in the trash can.
Values Beyond the Classroom
Be helpful, caring and cooperative with classmates.
Show respect for diversity and include everyone in games and activities.
Contribute to keeping the environment green and safe.
Health & Safety First
Always wash hands before meals and after play.
Running in corridors or pushing others is not allowed.
Carry only safe and school-required materials; avoid gadgets and harmful objects.
Consequences of Rule Violation
If a student fails to follow the norms:
- Teachers will first counsel the child and explain the importance of correct behaviour.
- If the behaviour continues, parents will be informed and guided to work together with the school.
- In case of repeated violations, the matter may be referred to the school discipline committee for appropriate corrective action.
- Any serious misconduct (such as use of abusive language, damage to property, or unsafe behaviour) will be addressed firmly while ensuring the child understands the consequences.
Our focus is not on punishment, but on helping children learn from their mistakes and grow into responsible individuals.
